I am proud to have worked at Sunderland Counselling Service since 2007 and to be part of the growth and development of the organisation and the range of services we provide. I am also proud to be part of a large team of dedicated and committed staff and volunteers who work so hard to support the people of Sunderland and the north east of England.

Marianne - Clinical Lead

 

I have worked for Sunderland Counselling Service since 2017 and I really enjoy working for a service that has such integrity and care for everyone. I really believe in the mission statement and values of the organisation and I love being a part of helping people to live happy and meaningful lives. We have so many wonderful services and I feel grateful to be a part of such an amazing team.

At SCS, we deliver a genuinely personable, compassionate service that puts staff and patients at the heart of everything we do. I joined in 2013, and I’ve chosen to stay here for so many years because it’s a place where people truly matter and the work we do makes a real difference.

Alicia - Senior Community Mental Health Link Worker

 

I joined SCS in 2022  and  manage our Adult Link Worker services across Sunderland and South Tyneside, ensuring people receive compassionate, person led support rooted in a ‘what matters to me’ approach. I’m proud to lead a team of talented, passionate staff who not only put clients at the heart of everything they do, but are also supported to grow and develop professionally.  Our core values are lived every day—both in how we support the community and how we support our staff.
